## Description

The ICON EPIC golf cart is typically equipped with a 51V/105Ah ECO lithium battery, a 450A ICON controller. And a 48V ICON 5kW three-phase high torque motor configuration, making it a high-performance electric drive system.

And our PMSM 48V 350A controller also belongs to 48V voltage and is equipped with a matching motor, so from the perspective of system architecture, it has a high possibility of adaptation with ICON EPIC golf cart. 48V is closer to the original vehicle configuration in terms of voltage level, making it easier to achieve compatibility in terms of battery, motor, and overall drive logic.

### 一、In terms of batteries, the ICON EPIC golf cart uses a 51V/105Ah ECO lithium battery. Which essentially belongs to the 48V lithium battery system category. Our 48V 350A PMSM controller, after parameter tuning, is compatible with:

48V lithium battery;

51V lithium battery;

LiFePO4 lithium iron phosphate battery system;

Therefore, it has good compatibility in battery matching.

In terms of motors, the ICON original car uses a 48V 5kW three-phase high torque motor. And our controller also supports PMSM three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor control logic. So it can be adapted through wire harness adjustment and parameter programming.

### 二、However, it should be noted that:

The original ICON controller is 450A, while our controller is 350A, so the power performance may be slightly lower than the original high current solution under extreme acceleration, high-speed output, and heavy load climbing conditions.

But it is enough for individual households or dealers with short distance driving, minor modifications, and limited budgets.

The 48V 350A PMSM controller solution not only provides a stable and smooth driving experience, but also has:

Higher control accuracy；

Smoother acceleration experience；

Lower maintenance costs；

If customers pursue high-performance output closer to the original ICON EPIC golf cart, it is recommended to choose a 48V-72V 550A or higher specification PMSM control scheme, which can better match the original high-power system architecture of the vehicle.
